On the afternoon of April 9, 2025, LEGO Group officially inaugurated the LEGO Manufacturing Viet Nam, located at No. 1, Street No. 3, VSIP III Industrial Park, Tan Uyen City, Binh Duong Province.
Construction of the LEGO Manufacturing Viet Nam began in November 2022 on a site covering 44 hectares, featuring 5 buildings with a total construction area of 150,000 m². The facility includes office spaces, an energy center, molding and packing areas, an automated warehouse and various component project.
One of the key component projects is the “110kV LEGO Substation and Connecting transmission line”, implemented by the Consortium of PECC3-AIT, (PECC3 as the leading member of the Consortium). Construction commenced in September 2023 on an area of over 3,000 m². The project scope includes: with the following scope: Two 110/22kV transformers, each with a capacity of 40MVA, an outdoor 110kV switchyard, an indoor 22kV distribution system, other auxiliary systems, and a connecting transmission line for the 110kV LEGO Substation, transited to the existing 110kV Phu Giao – Uyen Hung line, with a length of 60 meters. The entire scope of work from Engineering, Procurement and Construction to acceptance testing with all relevant parties was completed on schedule. The project was successfully energized on March 24, 2024, and has been put into commercial operation, ensuring a safe and reliable power supply, meeting the capacity requirements of the LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam as specified.
The inauguration of the LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam marks the establishment of LEGO Group’s sixth factory worldwide and its second facility in Asia. Notably, this is also the most environmentally friendly factory built by the LEGO Group to date. The facility has been developed to support the Group’s long-term growth strategy in the region and to further expand the LEGO play experience to children around the globe.
